What is Aikido?
A Japanese martial art
without competition
Aikido is a Japanese martial art founded by Morihei Ueshiba in the 20th century, with roots in traditional Japanese martial arts and swordsmanship. It is a non-competitive martial art in which the aim is both physical and personal development. In Aikido, we face force with balance, movement and harmony.
