About training
Aikido suits children and young people thanks to its Soft Movements and focus on Collaboration, coordination and fun of movement. . We do not exercise kicks or punches. Everyone trains based on their conditions – without competition, with the goal of learning and growing together.
Grading
Children and young people can grade to special Child and youth grades. . Each level is marked with colored ribbon on the belt.
As you get older and move on to adult training, you start with kyu-grades and then dan-grades (black belts).
Dress
Come as you are: barefoot, in long workout pants and T-shirt. The white clothes(Gi) is not needed at first; we arrange it when it is time. Bring a water bottle and a small towel.
